Colin Firth is the gold standard from "Pride and Prejudice." What self-respecting romance lover doesn't recall his dripping wet walk across the lawn with mouth-watering lust? For that matter, what about his Darcy from "Bridget Jones"? A twofer.
Martin Henderson played Darcy in "Bride and Prejudice," director Gurinder Chadha's Bollywood retelling of Jane Austen's classic tale. He smiles and I melt.
And then there's Matthew Macfadyen from Joe Wright's 2005 version. The intensity he brought to the role was engrossing and thrilling.
